On June 23, 2021, at 05:00 hours, MPDS will be upgraded from version 13.2 to version 13.3. The update process will take approximately five minutes. While the update is in progress, ProQA may still be used to process calls, though the Call Taker will have to manually enter the Nature/Problem field on the Emergency Call Taking form if ProQA does not send the determinant to CAD. Once the new version of ProQA is installed and re-launched it will resume automatic behaviour.

MPDS version 13.3 includes changes as taught in our on-line Spring CDE. These include updates to Key Question answer selections, pathways, definitions, instructions, and some new rules as well. There will be a grace period pertaining to the specific changes made in version 13.3 on all call reviews until June 26, 2021 to allow EMDs to become accustomed to the changes.

MPDS 13.3 is only available in ProQA. The card-sets are v13 and will not be updated to reflect these changes. In a Non-CAD Environment (NCE) event, we must revert back to v13.
